Paul Hellyer’s The Money Mafia audiobook coming in 2016

We are thrilled to announce that we will be bringing Paul Hellyer’s The Money Mafia to audiobook format as soon as September 2016.

Mr. Hellyer will be joining me in a podcast around that time, until then here’s the speech he delivered in Toronto when The Money Mafia was released. The video was produced by modernknowledge.ca.

As Hellyer notes:

“We the people own the patent to create ‘money’. We have licensed private individuals to do it for us… and they now create 97% of all money… but they create all of it as debt.

People who actually scrutinize this are rare (“only 1 in 100 recognize it”), but as I’ve observed in “Cronyism in the 21st Century”:

“if smart, scholarly people happen to believe that government fiat money is both feasible and beneficial to society, and they put serious thought into devising such a system, what they will not come up with is one run by private central banks issuing debt-based money. … When we look at the structure of the entire monetary system and realize that it’s the worst way possible to design a such a system if you have the best interests of the wider society in mind then you can’t help but ask in whose interests was it designed and implemented?”
